Large Gourd Mixture

Lagenaria siceraria A mixture of many of our most popular large gourds. The rarest types,  Bushel Gourd is not included in this mixture. These large gourd varieties are ideal for crafting.

Planting Directions:  Plant in spring when ground has warmed to 70˚, optimum 80°. In cooler climates start seeds in a greenhouse 6-8 weeks before transplanting.  Gourds require well fertilized, rich, warm soil. To help keep the soil warm, cover with mulch or black plastic before planting seed. Space plants 4 feet between plants.  Keep soil well watered.   May be trellised. Heavier gourds will need some support while growing on a trellis
