Fall Sow. Best for cold climates. Plant early to establish before cold weather, turn under in Spring. In mild climates it can be planted later in fall but allow to mature until late May before incorporating into the soil. Can be grown with Winter Rye, Oats, or Bell Beans to attain more height thus more biomass. Plant 1-2 lbs. per 1000 square feet or 40-60 lbs per acres.More winter hardy than common vetch.
