Deerfield is a Purple Stripe Hardneck. Medium size bulbs with purple pinstripes. Complex flavor finishing with a nice zesty zing; heralded as one of the best baked garlics. Adapted  to grow in almost any region of the country, but produces best with a cold winter season. Stores 5-6 months. 50-60 cloves per lb.
