Lemon Catnip is a 30" tall plant with a powerful sweet lemon aroma; upright growth. Thrills your cats and makes a nice cup of herb tea for the gardener. Square stems, heart shaped grey green leaves. Medium size white flower spikes sit atop the hairy stems. upright growth. Lemon Catnip is drought tolerant and deer resistant. Can be a repellant for aphids and squash bugs. Zones 3 to 9. 

Planting Directions: Sow seed indoors in sterile seed starting mix 6-10 weeks before transplanting to the garden. Plant seed 1/8” deep with a soil temperature of 60? to 70?. Direct sow in the garden in early spring or early fall. When plants are at least 4” tall transplant to a sunny location with well drained soil. Space plants 10” to 12” apart. Water moderate until plants are established. Nepetas require little water once established. Leaves can be cut at any time but wait until plants have put on at least 10” of growth. Harvest leaves by cutting stems and hanging in a dry, well ventilated area away from direct sunlight to dry
